Last November, authorities conducted house searches at the homes of ByeAlex and several of his fellow musicians on suspicion of drug possession. During the search, the singer voluntarily handed over a small amount of drugs that he said he had purchased for personal use. His police case is still ongoing, and now his lawyer has also commented after the singer was summoned to provide a urine sample at a police station.

Police found cocaine at ByeAlex’s home last November, which he said was for his own useThe musician is suspected of drug possession, and the investigation is still ongoingProsecutors ordered another urine test while Alex is already attending a diversion programByeAlex became involved in a drug related case in November 2025 after Hungary’s National Bureau of Investigation under the Rapid Response Police carried out searches at his home and at the homes of several members of his band. Authorities found cocaine in the singer’s possession, which he personally handed over to police officers. Shortly afterward, Alex addressed the reports on social media, confirming that drugs had indeed been found in his possession, but stressing that the substance was intended solely for personal use. In recent months, he has been questioned as a suspect in a drug possession case.“Come with me to give a urine sample at the police station. I’ve been attending diversion therapy for almost six months now, but the prosecutor’s office has just played a Pokémon card and ordered me to go to the police station here in Budapest and provide a urine sample to prove that I’ve been a good boy. My lawyer is already waiting outside in the car,” the X-Factor mentor said in a social media video, where he wanted to update his followers about the latest developments in the case.On the way with his lawyerAccording to Alex, “the train is still rolling forward for now,” but he noted that the police have treated him fairly and that he does not hold any anger toward anyone. The singer has tried to handle the situation with humor, though he emphasized that he fully understands the seriousness of the topic. He later went into more detail and said:“Csaba, there’s still misinformation circulating online claiming that under Hungarian law, you can only enter a diversion program if you reveal the circumstances of the case. Which basically means snitching on the person you bought something from. But in our case, that’s not what happened, because obviously I don’t want to tell the police about his business. They already knew everything anyway. They came to me already having identified that friend of mine, who had been accused of something, and he had already made statements against me too, right?” he asked his lawyer, who replied:“On one hand, they already knew everything because you had been under surveillance. On the other hand, your friend ratted you out. Just to make it understandable,” the lawyer stated while sitting in the car.Later, Alex checked in again and revealed that his test result came back negative.
