T. Danny’s close friends speak out: Mihályfi Luca and Hegyes Berci reveal what the rapper is really like

At the premiere of Behind the Mask, some of the rapper’s closest friends including Mihályfi Luca and Hegyes Berci attended the event and spoke openly about what it was like to witness the star’s downward spiral and eventual recovery. The singer also revealed what she believes is one of the rapper’s greatest “superpowers.”

In recent days, T. Danny finally opened up about his mysterious disappearance from the spotlight in Creator TV’s two part documentary series. For a long time, the popular rapper appeared in public wearing a mask, and it has now been revealed that behind it was a dark and painful chapter of his life. Behind the Mask tells not only the story of a celebrity’s fall and comeback, but also the story of an entire support system surrounding him. The premiere was attended by close friends who stood by the artist during his hardest times.

Hegyes Berci became close friends with the rapper during the filming of Dancing with the Stars, where he got to know an incredibly talented person behind the scenes.

“Most of my contact with him comes from Dancing with the Stars. I helped put together choreography for him and his partner. That’s where I got to know him as an incredibly sweet person. I had already been to his concerts before and liked his music, but from that point on, our relationship became personal,” the dancer told. He also added that he believes Dani is a very talented actor, something that can clearly be seen in his music videos despite never having formally studied acting.

He managed to rise from rock bottom

Mihályfi Luca became closer to T. Danny in 2024 while working together on their joint song Bad Idea. According to the singer, one of the rapper’s greatest strengths is his sense of humor, which helped him survive even the darkest periods of his life. Luca emphasized how proud she is of her friend for having the courage to show his vulnerability to the world.

“Ever since I’ve known him, we’ve gotten along really well. I know he’s a very kind and funny guy. I’m extremely proud of him for making this film, and I’m excited to see what comes from it. I think Dani is incredibly funny that’s one of his superpowers,” Luca said with a laugh.

Mihályfi Luca and her partner, Hegyes Berci, arrived together at the premiere and made it clear they fully support T. Danny.

The friends agree that the documentary’s most important message is hope the idea that there is always a way back, even from rock bottom.

“He’s incredibly strong, and he did an amazing job rebuilding himself over the past few months and returning in such wonderful shape. It’s truly admirable that he was able to come back from such a low point and once again present this healthy, complete version of himself to the world,” Mihályfi Luca added.

The documentary features not only T. Danny and his friends speaking about the hardships he went through, but also appearances by his mother, father, brother Telegdy Ádám, and members of his management team. In addition, the rapper’s addiction specialist, psychologist, and trainer also appear in the film, offering insight into his rehabilitation and lifestyle transformation process.
