Zoltán Bereczki’s confession about his daughters: “I’m a very different father to Flóra”

Zoltán Bereczki has changed a lot as a father.

Zoltán Bereczki rarely speaks about his private life, but now he opened up with striking honesty about how fatherhood has transformed his personality and parenting principles over the years. The actor and singer is now a firm believer in zero tolerance when it comes to gadgets and unhealthy foods, and he also admitted that since the birth of his younger daughter, Flóra, he has become a completely different parent. Although he often tends to exaggerate his past mistakes, his older daughter, Zorka, usually sees things differently.

Bereczki shared his views on one of the most debated issues among today’s parents screen time during Mariann Peller’s show Nagyfiúk. The EMeRTon Award winning performer believes in strict limits, and since he thinks digital devices can be harmful in the long run, sugar is just as rare in their household as screens.

During the conversation, Bereczki admitted that he has changed significantly as a father over the years. According to him, he is much more consciously present in the life of his second child, even if he still tends to magnify his earlier parenting mistakes. His older daughter, Zorka, often “absolves” him and reminds him of their shared memories, while his younger daughter, Flóra who will celebrate her fifth birthday in August already clearly expresses when something is not right, teaching her father in the process.

“I’m a very different father to Flóra than I was to Zorka. One of the things she teaches me is how things should and shouldn’t be done… What’s also interesting is that I remember many things much worse than they actually were, and I exaggerate my mistakes. Zorka corrects me and says, ‘Dad, I have all these wonderful memories with you, don’t be ridiculous.’ She frees me from many things where I felt I had failed terribly,” the singer said, according to nlc.hu’s report.

He also spoke with admiration about his daughter with Dóra Szinetár, who, according to him, has grown into an accepting and mature teenager.
