Feró Nagy, who campaigned for Fidesz, told ATV News about the party’s election defeat that “a campaign of hatred and voting took place this year.” He added that he cannot imagine Fidesz without Viktor Orbán, saying “he is the one who must give direction to the community.”
“There are people who could take over leadership from Viktor Orbán whether it’s Lázár, Szijjártó, or Semjén. So there are quite a few individuals there who could handle it. But we would lose that illusion that Viktor Orbán is the boss, that until now he has been the one telling us what, how, where, and how far and what he said usually worked out, except for this election, which did not,” Nagy summarized the situation.
According to him, “there’s no need for explanations here the coffee is done, that’s it for us.”
