Evelin Gáspár has recently been working alongside Péter Szijjártó. However, following the 2026 parliamentary elections, a new chapter has begun for her as well: she will no longer be retained as a press officer in the newly formed Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The daughter of Győzike holds a degree in economics and has also studied television production, so she may pursue different directions. What lies ahead for the elder Gáspár daughter, whose political involvement sparked significant public reaction?
Evelin Gáspár graduated as an economist and also worked in the media after studying television production at the TV2 Academy. She was part of the production team of Sztárban Sztár, where she coordinated contestants during live broadcasts, and as an intern she also produced at least one report for Tények Plusz. She even tried her hand as a presenter at Zenebutik, hosting a live Easter wish show in 2023.
Evelin grew up in front of television audiences in the well known family reality show Győzike Show. She later appeared in several other programs, including Hal a tortán, Ázsia Expressz, Párharc, Szerencsekerék, Sztárok a reptéren, and Sztárbox. From 2024, however, she unexpectedly entered public life, aligning herself with the ruling party.
She initially worked as an assistant to MEP Lívia Járóka, managing press appearances, but her position ended after the June 2024 European Parliament elections, when her direct superior was not included on the Fidesz KDNP list.
Gáspár drew further attention in December 2025 when she appeared alongside Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó during a trip to Moscow, where he attended business meetings with more than thirty company executives.
It later emerged that she had been appointed as a press officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and produced video summaries of Szijjártó’s Moscow trip for social media. In her footage, she documented the journey and the atmosphere of the economic forum, mentioning that the Hungarian delegation brought wine, chocolate, and champagne as gifts for their Russian hosts, and even noted that the interpreter “spoke Hungarian very cutely.”
She traveled to Moscow aboard a Hungarian Defence Forces aircraft and also documented other elements of the campaign in her role, including a short interview with Szijjártó that many viewers may recall.
In her public posts, Evelin consistently expressed support for Fidesz; however, in a previous poll, 87% of readers believed she was unlikely to become a good politician.
“It’s important to understand that the sun will rise on April 13 as well, and we cannot live in such hatred. As the election approaches, it is increasingly clear that the quiet, peaceful majority stands with Fidesz,” she said in one of her final videos before the election. Since April 12, however, she has not posted anything on her social media platforms.
Although we were unable to reach Evelin, we did contact Győzike, who declined to comment on his daughter’s future plans.
