A political earthquake swept through Hungary’s individual constituencies on Sunday night. Candidates from the Tisza Party not only secured wins in Budapest but also achieved sweeping victories over Fidesz in several rural strongholds previously considered unbeatable. The party won a two thirds majority, and after Péter Magyar’s victory speech, celebrations erupted not only along the riverbank but across the entire capital.
