The love story of The Bachelor Hungary has come to an end: Kiss Kriszta and András Stohl have broken up

For months, there had been speculation about whether the winning couple of The Bachelor Hungary Kiss Kriszta and András Stohl were still together. The pair has now cleared the air and confirmed that they are no longer in a relationship. Despite the breakup, Stohl said their connection has not completely ended, and Kriszta’s friendship will always remain important to him.

Their romantic relationship has turned into a friendship, and according to both of them, they parted ways without conflict. Stohl also admitted that he is still processing the grief of his divorce, while the reality show itself felt therapeutic for him. Kriszta, on the other hand, highlighted the pressure and expectations that followed the show as one of the main reasons behind the breakup.

“I think this is a completely normal thing. Sometimes people date for a while and then realize their lives are heading in different directions. There wasn’t a single harsh word between us. There’s no conflict. We are two adults who feel it’s important to clarify for both the viewers and ourselves how we move forward,” Stohl explained on TV2’s Secrets with Ramóna.

Interestingly, the pair’s body language during the interview seemed to contradict the breakup announcement. Throughout the conversation, András kept his hand on Kriszta’s leg for a long time, and near the end of the interview he held her hand. They smiled, laughed, and appeared cheerful there was no sign that they were about to announce the end of their relationship.

When host Ramóna Lékai-Kiss asked how they planned to move forward, András replied:

“I believe we will continue with a very close friendship. Kriszta can count on me anytime, for anything.”

Kriszta also shared her perspective after taking a moment to reflect.

“I’m trying to find the right word for what comes next for us. For me, the endless expectations became a burden, and I take responsibility for that. At first, people were supportive and rooting for us. But then came the constant questions: ‘Where is András? Why isn’t András there? Why isn’t he beside you?’ There wasn’t a single day when I didn’t have to explain why András wasn’t with me in a particular situation,” she admitted.

Kriszta said she became exhausted by the pressure and expectations surrounding their relationship.

“I admit it I go crazy when someone tries to push something on me or force me into something. That’s exactly what I felt was happening. I got tired of it, and it dimmed the openness and excitement I originally felt.”

Stohl reacted with understanding, saying her feelings were completely natural.

“If this had been an overwhelming, all consuming love, then of course you would do everything possible to be there no matter what,” the actor said honestly.

Eventually, the couple sat down in Stohl’s kitchen and openly discussed ending the relationship. According to both of them, it was a mutual decision.

“I realized that András simply isn’t at a stage where he can truly let someone into his home and heart. I feel like I gave him space, but I’m the type of person who, once I realize I need to let something go, I make that decision fully. It became clear to me that he couldn’t give me what I was looking for. I often felt that even when I was there with him, he wasn’t really with me,” Kriszta explained.

She added that, because of everything that happened after the show, she would not participate in The Bachelor Hungary again. Her advice to singles over 40 looking for love was:

“Be careful, and only knock on doors that are actually open.”

Stohl, however, said he would gladly go through the experience again because the show served as a form of therapy after his divorce. He openly admitted that he still has not fully moved on from his separation from his ex wife, Vica.

“There’s no point in lying about it I’m still in the grieving phase,” said the 59 year old actor.
