Péter Magyar: “My sons will continue not to be public figures”

According to the prime minister, the past two years have been very difficult for his three sons as well, and the coming years will not be easy either.

“My sons will continue not to be public figures, and I ask everyone to respect this,” Prime Minister Péter Magyar wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday, sharing a photo taken on Saturday in which he can be seen with his three sons on the steps of Parliament.

He emphasized that without them he would not have been able to get through this difficult two year journey, adding that he knows it has often been very hard for his sons as well, and that the coming years will not be easy either.

“They are still children. Just the same kind of children as your sons and daughters. They will continue not to be public figures. I ask for respect for this and for everyone’s help so that they can have the same childhood as other young Hungarians,”

the prime minister stated.
